Aircraft for Every Kind of Trip
The right aircraft depends on how many passengers you have, how far you are going and how much luggage comes along. Turboprop charter and light jet charter suit short business trips and small families. Midsize jet charter and super-midsize jet charter add cabin room and range for cross-country flights, while heavy jet charter carries larger groups in comfort. If your dates are flexible, ask us about empty leg flights.

Turboprop Charter
Efficient private flights for groups of up to about eight on regional trips, able to use shorter runways closer to where you need to be.

Light Jet Charter
Fast, efficient jets for small groups on regional trips, priced point to point with every fee spelled out before you commit.

Midsize Jet Charter
Room for a small group, a real lavatory and enough range for coast-to-coast trips, priced point to point with every cost written out before you book.

Super-Midsize Jet Charter
Stand-up cabins and nonstop range for longer trips, with room for eight or more passengers and luggage you can reach in flight.

Heavy Jet Charter
Large-cabin jets for big groups, long nonstop legs and overseas trips, priced point to point in writing with every fee listed up front.

Empty Leg Flights
Fly one way on an aircraft already repositioning, at a lower rate than a full charter, with the fine print explained before you commit.

A Charter Company That Keeps It Simple
We started Private Jet Charter Plainfield because too many travelers were getting a low number up front and a longer invoice after landing. Our answer is plain: write down every cost before you fly and stand behind it.
We work from our office in Plainfield and talk with clients by phone and video. Some are executives who need to be in two cities in one day. Others are families heading to a wedding or a beach week with kids, bags and a dog in tow. Each of them gets the same careful, written pricing and the same person to call with questions.

From Phone Call to Departure
Most trips follow the same four steps. You stay in the loop the whole way.
- 1
Tell us about the trip
Call and share your dates, route, passenger count, luggage and any pets. A few minutes on the phone is usually enough for us to suggest the right aircraft class.
- 2
Review your written pricing
We send a written breakdown listing the aircraft, flight times and every fee. Ask as many questions as you like, and compare a second aircraft option if you want to see the difference.
- 3
Confirm and prepare
Once you approve, we lock in the aircraft and crew. You receive the FBO details, departure time and what to bring, plus any catering or ground notes you asked for.
- 4
Arrive and fly
Show up at the FBO shortly before departure, skip the terminal lines and board. If anything changes on travel day, we are reachable by phone around the clock.

What Working With Us Looks Like
Chartering a jet shouldn't involve guesswork. This is how we handle each trip, from your first call until you land.
- Every cost on the page
- Your written estimate shows the aircraft type, flight time, taxes, airport and FBO fees, and crew costs. When your plans change, we send an updated breakdown before you book, so what you approve is exactly what you pay.
- Pay only for your legs
- Our pricing is point to point. Need just one direction? You'll never be charged round trip pricing for a jet flying back without you.
- No ties once you land
- You won't find prepaid programs, yearly fees or long-term commitments here. Fly once a year or ten times, and every trip gets its own price.
- Someone answers, day or night
- Trips shift on weekends and after midnight, so our phone is answered 24/7. When plans come together quickly, we're straight with you about which aircraft are truly open rather than promising what we can't provide.
- Bring everyone along
- Pets are allowed, so your dog can travel with the family. Plenty of the aircraft we book are WIFI equipped, which helps when your workday keeps going at altitude.
What Travelers Want to Know
What does your quote cover?
All of it, shown before booking: the aircraft, crew, fuel, positioning, taxes, and airport and FBO fees for your route. Optional extras such as special catering are listed separately for you to accept or skip. Nothing hidden is billed after you fly.
Do you charge round trip for a one-way flight?
No. Our pricing is point to point, so a one-way trip is never billed at round trip pricing. Any positioning to or from your airport is broken out in your written quote rather than buried in one number.
Do I have to prepay hours or sign up before I fly?
No. You won't find long-term commitments, sign-up fees or prepaid hours. Call when a trip comes up, look over the price and choose whether to book.
Can my pets fly with me?
Yes, pets are allowed. Let us know on the call how many and how big, and we'll recommend an aircraft with space for them and check the rules at your destination.
Is WIFI available on board?
We can arrange WIFI equipped aircraft. If you need to stay online, say so when you call and we'll make sure the aircraft on your quote has it.
What if the aircraft has a mechanical issue?
Mechanical insurance pays up to 100% of a replacement flight. If an aircraft can't leave as scheduled, we work to line up another to get you to your destination, and we go over this coverage before you book.
How fast can you set up a flight?
Our phone is answered 24/7, late nights and weekends included. Short-notice flights can happen when the right aircraft and crew are free, and we'll tell you quickly what's possible for your dates.
What is an empty leg?
It's an aircraft flying with no passengers to get into position after another trip. If its route and timing line up with yours, you can often fly for less. They suit travelers with flexible dates; our Empty Leg Flights page has more detail.
What Shapes the Price of a Charter Flight
Charter pricing is built from a handful of real costs, and we walk you through each one before you commit. Knowing what moves the number helps you choose between options, like a light jet versus a midsize jet for the same route.
Every estimate we give you is an all-inclusive quote in writing, based on your exact route, passengers and dates. If those details change, we update it before you confirm.
- Aircraft size
- A turboprop costs less per hour to operate than a super-midsize or heavy jet. Bigger cabins carry more passengers and bags, so the per-seat cost can even out for groups.
- Flight time and distance
- Most of the price comes from hours in the air. Faster jets can shorten a long trip enough to offset part of their higher hourly rate.
- Where the aircraft starts
- If the nearest suitable aircraft is based elsewhere, it has to position to your departure airport. We show you that cost up front so it is never a surprise.
- Overnights and wait time
- A same-day return keeps costs down. Multi-day trips can add crew lodging and aircraft parking, which we list separately so you can weigh your choices.
- Airports and FBO fees
- Landing, handling and parking fees vary by airport and FBO. Choosing a smaller airport near your destination can sometimes lower them.
- Dates and demand
- Holiday weekends and major event dates tighten availability. Booking earlier, or staying flexible enough for an empty leg, gives you more options.
